    Hey Josh!

    Whatcha gonna do over there?

Brussels is great. It's also very big, so you're going to have to venture out to discover all of its charm. I highly recommend you visit the center market square. Sit yourself down there at one of the many bars/cafes, have a nice Belgian beer, and be mezmerised... "Manneke pis" (the pissin' boy) is right around there as well. It's really nice to walk there through all the old windy little streets and take in the atmosphere... the architecture... There's a lot of history still intact there, though much got blown up during the war. At some point, Brussles used to be more beautiful even than Paris. Rumor goes that Paris was spared because a German commander had himself a 'schatzy' there ;-)

You must absolutely try a Brussels waffle. Hmmm hmmm hmmm, wish I was having one right now. There are lots of museums to check out, if you're into that sort of thing. Befriend some hip locals I'd say, and get to know where it's all at. And if you like clubbing and dancing to some great music, then check out "The Fuse" in Brussels as well. It goes off every Saturday and sometimes Fridays as well. Three floors of decadent madness, all night long. Check out "Brupark" as well: home to "Kinepolis"; the world's largest cinema complex. All state of the art, THX surround, 70mm projection and one immense IMAX theatre! Also in Brupark: The Atomium; an architectural masterpiece of man's ability to master steel. Standing underneath it is a humbling experience. Say, are you going to be a student perhaps? The Free University of Brussles (VUB) is definitely top notch. So is the chocolate. Just don't let the weather get to ya ;-))

Josh, I wish you very very well!

No, I never did find work, aside from teaching a couple of English lessons. I was forced to survive writing hotel reviews for an american website. But I did have a good time, and should be here another couple of months, 'cause I finally found work somewhere else.

            What is Bauhaus?
